Scene Around Town: Junior League of Dallas and Faith & Grief Ministries

As Society Editor for the Katy Trail Weekly I oversee the publication's Scene Around Town feature, which shines a spotlight on nonprofit and community events each week. In this week’s January 24 issue, I’m featuring scenes from Junior League of Dallas who’s members recently gathered to celebrate Past
Presidents, Past Ball Chairs and Milestones Luncheon Chairs throughout the years at the Talley Dunn Gallery. Also featured were highlights from a special installation of River of Time, a work of art created by artist Pamela H. Nelson from thousands of ribbons signed each year at The Faith & Grief Memorial Arch at Klyde Warren Park in Dallas to commemorate the 61st Anniversary of President Kennedy’s assassination. This exhibit was presented by Faith & Grief Ministries and The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza.
