Scene Around Town: Rainbow Days and Dallas Symphony Orchestra League
As Society Editor for the Katy Trail Weekly I oversee the publication's Scene Around Town feature, which shines a spotlight on nonprofit and community events each week. In this week’s September 20 issue, I was pleased to share highlights from the Dallas Symphony Orchestra League's Debutante & Honor Guard who recently gathered to end summer with a Casino Party at Arlington Hall for an evening of dinner, casino games, and dancing. Also featured were scenes from Rainbow Days recently hosted over 300 children for a Back-to-School Campaign where they enjoyed a carnival-style event at the Dallas Market Center. Children left with a brand-new backpack filled with school supplies and a new school uniform to prepare them for a successful school year.
