Scene Around Town: Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum and New Friends New Life
As Society Editor for the Katy Trail Weekly I oversee the publication's Scene Around Town feature, which shines a spotlight on nonprofit and community events each week. In this week’s October 4 issue, I was pleased to share highlights from All For The Hall, where a two-day musical event kicked off with a Patron Party at the home of Anne and Steve Stodghill, honorary co-chairs of the event. The next evening Country music legends took the stage at the second ever All for the Hall Dallas benefiting the Country Music Hall of Fame® and Museum. Also highlighted were images from the annual New Friend New Life luncheon where over 1,200 guests joined New Friends New Life for a memorable luncheon, raising $1.1 million to benefit the nonprofit’s mission to restore and empower trafficked and sexually exploited teen girls, women and their children. The luncheon featured a conversation with power couple Camila and Matthew McConaughey.
