Scene Around Town: Bryan's House and Women's Council of the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden
As Society Editor for the Katy Trail Weekly I oversee the publication's Scene Around Town feature, which shines a spotlight on nonprofit and community events each week. In this week’s August 25 issue, I was pleased to spotlight photos featuring highlights from Bryan's House announcement party at the HPUMC Tolleson Family Activity Center this past April 24. Celebrating 35 years of service, Bryan’s House revealed a theme of Power of You for their 2023 Awards Luncheon Event which will be held on October 23 at Dallas Country Club. Event chairs will be Dr. Carla Russo and Regina Bruce. Also featured were scenes from the Women’s Council of the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden who held their Spring meeting at A Tasteful Place at the Dallas Arboretum earlier this Summer to celebrate the accomplishments achieved during the 40th Anniversary year for the organization.
