Scene Around Town: Mad Hatter's Luncheon and Centre opens in Bishop Arts
As Society Editor for the Katy Trail Weekly I oversee the publication's Scene Around Town feature, which shines a spotlight on nonprofit and community events each week. In this week’s July 21 issue, I was pleased to spotlight photos featuring highlights from Centre who recently celebrated the opening of their newest retail location in Bishop Arts. The Dallas-born streetwear label and purveyor of premium athletic and lifestyle wear has brought the community-centric company to one of Dallas’ most unique neighborhoods. Also featured was the annual Mad Hatter's Luncheon sponsored by the Women’s Council of the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden where over 650 attendees descended on the Dallas Arboretum this past April to celebrate . Over $350K was raised in support of development, growth and maintenance of A Woman’s Garden.
