Scene Around Town: KidLinks and Women’s Council of the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden
As Society Editor for the Katy Trail Weekly I oversee the publication's Scene Around Town feature, which shines a spotlight on nonprofit and community events each week. In this week’s March 24 issue, I was pleased to spotlight photos featuring highlights from Symphony of Chefs fundraiser where over 20 of Dallas’ most notable chefs prepared a four-course dinner tableside for guests with wine pairings. Funds raised from this event will support KidLinks efforts to provide Healing, Hope and Happiness for the special needs of children with special challenges through music and media. Also featured were scenes from the Mad Hatter's Judges Reveal party where Hat Judges and Categories were recently revealed for the upcoming 35th Annual Majestic Mad Hatter’s Luncheon – A Celebration of English Elegance to be held April 20. Funds will benefit A Woman’s Garden presented by the Women’s Council of the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden.
