Scene Around Town: Nasher Sculpture Center and Texas Women’s Foundation

As Society Editor for the Katy Trail Weekly I oversee the publication's Scene Around Town feature, which shines a spotlight on nonprofit and community events each week. In this week’s March 17 issue, I was pleased to spotlight photos featuring highlights from the Nasher Sculpture Center who recently hosted an exclusive Patron Dinner celebrating the opening of the exhibition Mark di Suvero: Steel Like Paper, which explores the studio practice of Mark di Suvero and the power of his monumental vision. Also featured were images from Orchid Giving Circle at Texas Women’s Foundation who recently distributed a record $281,500 to 20 nonprofit organizations that serve the North Texas Asian community.
