Scene Around Town: Dallas Symphony Orchestra League and St. Philip's School

As Society Editor for the Katy Trail Weekly I oversee the publication's Scene Around Town feature, which shines a spotlight on nonprofit and community events each week. In this week’s March 31 issue, I was pleased to spotlight photos featuring highlights from the 37th Annual Dallas Symphony Orchestra League Presentation Ball where twenty six Symphony Debutantes took their bows on Saturday, February 11 at the Morton H. Meyerson Symphony Center. Debutantes are bright, accomplished and driven to make a positive difference in their communities. Also featured were scenes from the 23rd Annual Destiny Award Luncheon where Emmy and Golden Globe winner Sterling K Brown illuminated the crowd. St. Philip's School and Community Center's signature luncheon raised over $1.2M. Funds raised benefit 260+ students enrolled at St. Philip’s School, as well as more than 4,000 children, adults and seniors active in the St. Philip’s Community Center.
