Scene Around Town: DIFFA Dallas and The Stewpot
As Society Editor for the Katy Trail Weekly I oversee the publication's Scene Around Town feature, which shines a spotlight on nonprofit and community events each week. In this week’s November 8 issue, I was pleased to share highlights from Burgers + Burgundy where Chef John Tesar united a prestigious lineup of celebrity chefs for this annual event bringing together passionate foodies, philanthropists, and advocates to kick off DIFFA Dallas’ 2024-2025 Philanthropic Season. Also featured were scenes from a kickoff party hosted by Cory and Shane Bowen in support of The Stewpot to announce details for the upcoming Soup’s On Luncheon and Art Sale revealing the 50th-anniversary theme which will be all about the nonprofit's long tradition of love in action. Now in its 18th year, Soup’s On returns to Thompson Dallas on Monday, January 27, 2025.
