Scene Around Town: Women's Council of the Dallas Arboretum and Preservation Park Cities
As Society Editor for the Katy Trail Weekly I oversee the publication's Scene Around Town feature, which shines a spotlight on nonprofit and community events each week. In this week’s January 19 issue, I was pleased to spotlight photos featuring highlights from the Mad Hatter’s 2024 Luncheon Theme Reveal Party where Bonnie Shelby recently hosted Women's Council supporters . "Gardens of Greece" was announced as this year's luncheon theme. This fundraiser benefiting A Woman’s Garden at the Dallas Arboretum will be held on April 18. Also featured were images from the 17th Annual A Writer’s Garden Literary Symposium and Luncheon which revealed insider’s scoop on Marjorie Merriweather Post’s Hillwood Estate and Paolo Moschino and Philip Vergeylen’s entertaining life. Lastly, scenes from Preservation Park Cities 2023 Distinguished Speaker Luncheon featured Kathy Kincaid, award-winning interior designer and author of The Well Adorned Home: Making Luxury Livable and visionary architect Wilson Fuqua were the featured speakers of this year's event.
