Scene Around Town: Dallas CASA and Juliette Fowler Communities

As Society Editor for the Katy Trail Weekly I oversee the publication's Scene Around Town feature, which shines a spotlight on nonprofit and community events each week. In this week’s August 11 issue, I was pleased to spotlight photos featuring highlights from Dallas CASA who celebrated the designers, builders and sponsors who contributed to the 28th annual Parade of Playhouses at The Closing Party, held at Design Within Reach in NorthPark Center. Also featured were scenes from Juliette Fowler Communities who recently celebrated the retirement of their Chief Advancement Officer Ann McKinley, who leaves behind a legacy that elevated the 130-year-old faith-based nonprofit serving an intergenerational community of residents at various life-stages.
