Scene Around Town: Dallas Historical Society and Folds of Honor
As Society Editor for the Katy Trail Weekly I oversee the publication's Scene Around Town feature, which shines a spotlight on nonprofit and community events each week. In this week’s February 3 issue, I was pleased to spotlight photos featuring highlights from the Dallas Historical Society who recently celebrated 100 years with an evening of cuisine, personal tours of the interactive Alamo diorama, and a moving video salute to the Moody Foundation. Also featured were scenes from Folds of Honor North Texas’ Annual Gala. Over 1,800 supporters gathered inside AT&T Stadium to raise funds that will provide educational scholarships to spouses and children of America’s fallen or disabled military.
