Scene Around Town: Alchemy 43, Modern Day Wife, and a Writer's Garden
As Society Editor for the Katy Trail Weekly I oversee the publication's Scene Around Town feature, which shines a spotlight on nonprofit and community events each week. In this week’s January 13 issue, I was pleased to spotlight photos featuring highlights from the grand opening of Alchemy 43's first Texas location hosted at their Hillside Village store on Henderson. Also featured are photos from The Modern Day Wife who passed through Dallas this past December connecting consumers to local brands for "It's A Sweet Life" night of shopping and conversation with celebrities and influencers. Lastly, The Right Honorable Countess of Carnarvon, author of Seasons at Highclere, otherwise known as the site of the hit television series "Downtown Abbey", was the featured speaker at A Writer’s Garden Literary Symposium and Luncheon this past November benefiting the Women’s Council of the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden and A Woman’s Garden.
