Scene Around Town: Brian Bolke's Conservatory and Dallas 24 Hour Club Gets Artsy

As Society Editor for the Katy Trail Weekly I oversee the publication's Scene Around Town feature, which shines a spotlight on nonprofit and community events each week. In this week’s March 11 issue, I was pleased to spotlight photos featuring highlights from Brian Bolke opening of The Conservatory along with a preview of the much anticipated Teak Tearoom at Highland Park Village. The Conservatory blends brick and mortar with ecommerce through luxurious minimalism in the men’s and women’s apparel, accessories, wellbeing, and living categories The Teak Tearoom is a reimagined version of Bolke’s T Room, bringing back an assortment of beloved menu items, with guests excited to enjoy the return of some of Bolke’s favorite dishes, as well as new dishes and cocktails – which are poised to soon become fan favorites.

Also featured are scenes from David Dike Fine Art 25th anniversary Texas art auction, which offered up over 450 pieces of traditional and contemporary works from various Texas artists. The 25th anniversary auction featured a self portrait sale from local artists at participating galleries to benefit the 24 Hour Club, a sober transitional living center for people experiencing homelessness and other local charities.
