A New Chapter for Meridian: From Destination Dining to Everyday Delight

Meridian at The Village Dallas is preparing to return with a new identity celebrating approachability, community, and seasonality. Reopening by early summer 2025, the reimagined Meridian will shift from destination fine dining to a refined neighborhood bistro, still chef-driven, but more relaxed and welcoming in spirit.

The decision to evolve Meridian comes at a moment when Dallas dining is shifting toward more relaxed, neighborhood-oriented formats. The new Meridian will meet that shift head-on, with a flexible à la carte menu, vibrant shareable dishes, and a bar designed for casual drop-ins and conversation.

The dining room will also reflect the shift, embracing a more laid-back, lived-in energy, while the bar will serve as a casual drop-in spot for cocktails, small bites, and conversation. Thoughtful service, a curated wine list, and a continued commitment to culinary excellence will remain at the core of the experience.

Spearheading this next chapter is Executive Chef Eduardo Osorio, a Dallas-based culinary talent with a global perspective and a passion for crafting ingredient-led, soulful food.

A veteran of top-tier hotel kitchens and fine dining establishments, Osorio brings both polish and warmth to his new role.

“This new version of Meridian is about creating a space people can return to regularly whether for a casual dinner with neighbors or a night out on the town with friends,” said Chef Osorio. “We’re focusing on seasonality, simplicity, and soul without losing the thoughtful approach that’s always been part of the restaurant’s DNA.”

Meridian is located on the grounds of The Village, 5650 Village Glen Dr, Dallas, TX 75206
