Scene Around Town: Children’s Cancer Fund and CREW

As Society Editor for the Katy Trail Weekly I oversee the publication's Scene Around Town feature, which shines a spotlight on nonprofit and community events each week. In this week’s May 17 issue, I was pleased to share highlights from Honorary Chairs Troy Aikman and Dak Prescott joined Gala Chair Emberli Pridham for an awe-inspiring evening at the annual Children’s Cancer Fund Gala to raise an extraordinary $2.7 million to support pediatric cancer research and treatment programs at Children’s HealthSM and UT Southwestern. Also featured are scenes from a President’s Tea for the Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) Dallas chapter hosted by Eliza Solender. Guests included Past Chapter Presidents, Outstanding Achievement Award Recipients and Lifetime Members to discuss the rollout of the new CREW in the Community Education Fund.
