Scene Around Town: Aging Mind Foundation and Dallas Symphony Orchestra League
As Society Editor for the Katy Trail Weekly I oversee the publication's Scene Around Town feature, which shines a spotlight on nonprofit and community events each week. In this week’s May 10 issue, I was pleased to share highlights from The Aging Mind Foundation who recently hosted its tenth annual gala, themed A Night to Remember, celebrating the organization's mission to fund and advance scientific research focused on finding the causes of Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias. Also featured were scenes from the 38th Annual Dallas Symphony Orchestra League Presentation Ball where 44 Symphony Debutantes recently took their bows. In a symphony of elegance and festive jubilation, the 2024 Debutantes took center stage and the spotlight was on the debs, their families, and dapper members of the Honor Guard.
