Scene Around Town: NorthPark Center and Texas Woman’s University
As Society Editor for the Katy Trail Weekly I oversee the publication's Scene Around Town feature, which shines a spotlight on nonprofit and community events each week. In this week’s April 12 issue, I was pleased to share highlights from NorthPark Center who recently kicked off the spring season in style with the opening reception for Fleurs de Villes ARTISTE, a curated collection of 15 one-of-a-kind fresh floral mannequins, all created by North Texas' most talented floral designers with themes chosen by the region’s vibrant arts and cultural organizations. Also shown are scenes from Texas Woman’s University who recently held its annual Dallas Leadership Luncheon to raise funds for scholarships. The Virginia Chandler Dykes Leadership Award was presented to Abby and Todd Williams.
