Scene Around Town: Mavs Foundation and Dallas 24 Hour Club

As Society Editor for the Katy Trail Weekly I oversee the publication's Scene Around Town feature, which shines a spotlight on nonprofit and community events each week. In this week’s April 7 issue, I was pleased to spotlight photos featuring highlights from the Eighth Annual Mavs Ball which raised a record $1.85 million. The funds raised will stay here in North Texas to empower the children, women and families the Mavs Foundation serves each year. Also featured were scenes from March's Steak Night which celebrated the fifth anniversary of Dallas 24 Hour Club’s new facility on Ross Avenue. There was also a ceremonial burning of the mortgage for Tillman House, the sober living apartment complex for 24 Successful Grads.
