Scene Around Town: Dallas 24 Hour Club Celebration and The Family Place ReuNight's
As Society Editor for the Katy Trail Weekly I oversee the publication's Scene Around Town feature, which shines a spotlight on nonprofit and community events each week. In this week’s April 29 issue, I was pleased to spotlight photos featuring highlights from Dallas 24 Hour Club who just celebrated the one-year anniversary of Tillman House, an 18-unit apartment complex that provides affordable sober living for up to 41 residents. The building is named Tillman House, after Dallas 24 Hour Club's Founder Lee Tillman, and was created to positively impact The 24's ability to provide safe, sober transitional living for homeless men and women seeking a brand new life away from drugs and alcohol. Also highlighted are snaps from a recent kickoff party hosted by Brian Bolke at his new retail store, the Conservatory, to celebrate the upcoming ReuNight party benefiting The Family Place.
I encourage you to pick up the latest issue of the Katy Trail Weekly complete with community news, articles by local experts, event and restaurant info, puzzles, and more for FREE each week! Where? Katy Trail Weekly proudly serves these Dallas neighborhoods: Uptown, Arts District, Highland Park, Preston Hollow, Downtown, University Park, West Village, Preston Center, Oak Lawn, Knox-Henderson, Love Field, Medical District, and more!
