Dallas Hotel Magazine Holiday Gift Guide (Fall Holiday 2018)

For the third year in a row, I am happy to curate the Holiday Gift Guide for Dallas Hotel Magazine. The issue can be viewed in its entirety ONLINE. Here’s my intro:

“Hectic” is the word that comes to mind when I think about the holidays. My challenge to you this holiday season is to enter the season with intention, then work your plan – don’t let the plan work you! My intention is to focus on what is important, which is making memories with my family. Dallas provides many wonderful opportunities to spend quality time with the ones you love. If you have littles, taking a photo with Santa is a must. Carl Anderson has been at NorthPark Center for over 25 years and he’s the closest thing to the real deal you will find this side of the North Pole. Another wonderful Dallas tradition is to head over to Highland Park Village or The Shops of Highland Park and take a horse-drawn carriage ride around Highland Park to view the elaborate holiday light displays on some of Dallas’ most impressive homes. Teens and tweens will love Holiday In The Park at Six Flags where you’ll find millions of twinkling lights, thrilling rides, live performances, plus visits with Santa. Kids of all ages will enjoy the magnificent gardens at the Dallas Arboretum which celebrates the season with thousands of twinkling lights and elaborate Victorian gazebos filled with whimsical characters inspired by the story, A Christmas Carol. Of course, no holiday celebration is complete without a proper gift exchange and on the pages to follow you’ll find selections to delight and inspire the family and friends you love the most.
